If the IoT was a sport in the Games, a gold-winning solution would be efficient, powerful, and flexible. As the number of IoT applications rapidly increases, solutions need to be strong to maintain capacity. While short-range wireless technologies, such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, will account for about 72 percent of all IoT connections in 2025, Machina Research estimates that 11 percent of IoT connections will use LPWAN technologies, such as Semtech’s LoRa® devices.
