Semtech’s LoRa devices create an efficient monitoring solution for reducing energy consumption
Semtech Corporation, a supplier of high-performance analog and mixed-signal semiconductors, announced that IHM Pacific, a developer of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies for the smart utilities, and Andrea Informatique, a consultancy firm specialising in new technology and software design, have collaborated to develop a new electricity metering solution based on Semtech’s LoRa devices and the LoRaWAN protocol. Deployments of the metering solution have been ongoing for over a year and are increasing in New Caledonia and some parts of the Pacific and Europe. Read more
Ultrasonic Water Metering with LoRaWAN Connectivity
Semtech Corporation announced that Hanbit has developed a new ultrasonic water metering (UWM) solution build on Semtech’s LoRa devices and the LoRaWAN protocol. The Hanbit’s UWM product uses LoRaWAN based connectivity in order to monitor the near real time and accurate water use data even at very low flow rates. Read more
