Overview
The RailClamp portfolio is a series of ultra-low capacitance transient voltage suppressors (TVS) designed to protect high speed data interfaces. This series has been specifically designed to protect sensitive components which are connected to high-speed data and transmission lines from overvoltage caused by electrostatic discharge (ESD), cable discharge events (CDE) and electrical fast transients (EFT). The RClamp®0822B features a typical capacitance of only 0.7pF and features protection characteristics highlighted by high surge current capability (7A, tp = 8/20μs), low peak ESD clamping voltage and high ESD withstand voltage (±30kV contact and air per IEC 61000-4-2).
