SDVoE Alliance®
The SDVoE Alliance is a nonprofit consortium of technology providers collaborating to standardize the adoption of Ethernet to transport AV signals in professional AV environments, and create an ecosystem around SDVoE technology allowing software to define AV applications. The alliance participates in conferences, publishes white papers and case studies, and promotes SDVoE-based solutions to system integrators, designers and consultants.
Mission & Members
The mission of the SDVoE Alliance is to promote and accelerate the Pro AV industry’s transition to Ethernet as the primary infrastructure for delivering audio and video signals, and replace the venerable matrix switch with Software Defined Video over Ethernet (SDVoE™) network architectures and solutions.
Currently, the SDVoE Alliance boasts a membership of 45 companies with over 200 interoperable products, and is continuously growing. Founding members of the SDVoE Alliance are Semtech, Aquantia, Christie Digital, NETGEAR, Sony and ZeeVee.
Design Partners
The SDVoE Design Partner Program is open to leaders in the field of AV-over-IP, and experts in the design and architecture of SDVoE systems. The goal of the program is to establish recognized consultants and designers who can provide guidance to integrators, installers and end users in leveraging the SDVoE standard for high performance AV network deployments. The program allows integrators and end users to take full advantage of the flexibility and scalability of Ethernet to deliver 4K video without compromise – and for the first time, to deliver AV data on a converged infrastructure.
SDVoE Academy
The SDVoE Academy provides an interactive video-based education environment to learn about the fastest growing interoperable AV standard.
AV consultants, system architects, integrators, installers, and tech managers can all benefit from topics covered in the SDVoE Academy. Courses include system design, video and network basics and SDVoE Design Partner certification.
